It’s still a love story.
Time is short. We must be about our Father’s business. Can we share the anguish of lost souls with Him as the insidious serpent is steadily crawling its way around the world and squeezing like a boa constrictor?
I so often wonder where we would be now if Adam and Eve had said “NO!” to the snake in the Garden of Eden. We might still be walking with God in the cool of day. Oh, wait—we CAN walk with Him at any time of the day!
Last week I announced that “Upheld in the Battle” is available. My hope is that those who read it will see God’s truth and love for themselves. To know that He still wants that personal walk with us that He began in the Garden. It was supposed to be permanent. It was supposed to be an intimate knowing between God and us. But a serpent spoiled it and we have been waging war ever since—the serpent with God and us.
But God made a way for us to return to Him through the Cross of Jesus. And, just as in the Garden, He still leaves the choice to us. Walk with Him or slither with the serpent. What will you choose?
“And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day…” Genesis 3:8a.
