Dear Friends:
Greetings from Wild Rose Ridge. Yes, it is time to visit that western frontier town that sits at the base of Wild Rose Lake in Central Washington State once again.
This time the series will feature the 4th of July. New mail order brides will arrive and old friends will return.
As you can see from the cover, it’s Meg’s story. You might remember that Meg is Marianne’s good friend.
Now Meg has moved to town and lives not too far away from Marianne and Jeremy Stafford. She has taken a job of companion to Miss Thelma. This elderly widow was forced by circumstances some years ago to sell the mercantile to Mr. Phineas Prentiss. Meg must endure fireworks whenever they visit the store.
Her little brother, Caleb, has come with her. As boys do, he brings mischievous adventures with him. Meg must mollify Miss Thelma at times, especially over Caleb’s canine companion, Flint.
But most of all, she gets to see Thad McNeil more often since she came to town. She’s had a crush since she was twelve. Could it be something more lasting? But he only sees her as his friend Sam’s little sister.
Can she change that?
And just what are Sylvester Sneed and the Busy Bees up to? Not to mention your old friends – the Wild Rose Ridge Christmas mail order brides.
There are seven new stories in this series and they will begin to release at the end of June.
