It’s a strange experience to see my name on a book cover. Sure, I’ve wanted to see this ever since I can remember, but when it becomes reality, it’s weird.
It’s also a responsibility. Words are powerful and have the opportunity to enter into the lives of those who receive them. This is about living in heroic faith in the midst of battling through the lessons of our lives. Only God can truly speak Truth into us, but He’s given His people an amazing opportunity to make a difference for good into each other’s lives by words.
Thanks to a talented designer, the cover features a soldier wielding his sword. I like to think he’s winning the battle against the enemy who would destroy him. This soldier is, of course, each of us. May this battle may be won for all eternity.
