Hello, I’m Linda Jo Reed.
It takes courage to live a life by faith. It also takes a lifetime of practice. And it certainly takes an heroic effort. I don’t see how it can happen unless you “fling yourself in reckless confidence on God.” This profound thought from Oswald Chambers revolutionized my life.
I live in God’s country in the Pacific Northwest in the USA. Mountains and pine trees mean home to me. I delight in finding God’s presence in creatures and nature. He encourages me greatly in this way. My blog posts are often inspired by what I see around me.

If we live in heroic faith by flinging ourselves with reckless confidence on God, then He makes us strong for the battles we must fight in this life. And there are many. He provides plenty of weapons for our warfare through His Word, the Bible. He also brings alongside us plenty of fellow soldiers to fight the good fight together.
