It’s trite, I know. But do you want to reach for the stars when you see them at night?
You already know how much I love experiencing God’s creation. When the skies are clear, I stand outside in my yard at night and just look and look. Everywhere. There are big stars and little stars. Some look red, blue, and yep…like diamonds. You’ve read it before.
Still—when I gaze at those wondrous lights in the sky, I hear God saying, “yes, reach up. I have great plans for you. More than you can ever imagine. But you must reach out in faith and then take the steps in the dark. Trust that I can make it all happen. Will you do it?”
I want all those great things. Do you? Are we willing to step out when it looks impossible? When we might look like fools? What if we fail?
Yet—as I look at that great expanse of stars—how can I not move forward? If God made the universe, He must mean it when He says He’ll see me through. I’m going forward. Will you follow your dream, too?
“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him” I Cor 2:9.
