Did you know that God is FOR us? I’ve heard the words. I’ve read similar words over and over. Have you? Do you believe them?
Steadfast Faith
God declares that He is FOR us. He rejoices over our steadfast faith when we DO believe that He is FOR us. He invites us to walk closely with Him in companionship.
Rooted In Truth
When we believe that He is with us and He is FOR us, we become rooted in truth. We gain assurance and we can be confident.
Built Up
We can become open to great things He wants to build up in us. He gives us dreams to follow and gifts to work with in accomplishing those dreams.
Established
He establishes us in our faith and leads us in the direction for our lives. He has redeemed our very lives and fashions us to live free with honor.
Abounding
Finally, like Jabez in the Old Testament, God gives us the ability to abound. He enlarges our boundaries and we can follow His great adventure anywhere He takes us.
God is FOR us!
And we are thankful because we have a great and wonderful God who has made us in His Image and constantly gives us His tender care.
“For though I am absent in the flesh, yet I am with you in spirit, rejoicing to see your good order and the steadfastness of your faith in Christ. As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with Thanksgiving” Colossians 2:5-7.
