Scribette Snippets
I love my writers group. We call ourselves “The Scribettes.”
The Scribettes have been together meeting twice monthly (as well as other times) for several years. We started as a small journaling group at Life Center Church in Spokane. We still journal, but now we have several blogs, published books, articles, devotionals, anthologies and more among us. We’ve grown a lot.
We have made it our business to encourage one another in our writing (very necessary after critiquing our work together!) and lift up each other in prayer. God is good.
Recently we have started a blog. It’s called “Scribette Snippets.” We have a variety of interests in our group. “Snippets” means: scraps, oddments, odds and ends, morsels (this brings to mind tastes—and doesn’t the Lord say to ‘taste and see’?). Please take a look at our new blog and enjoy. New blogs will be posted twice monthly from one or another of us.
This one is my first “Scribette Snippets” blog. While you get to see the first part here, you’ll have to hit the link for the rest on the Snippets blogsite. Be blessed. We write good stuff!!

I’d been saving my money for months. All that was left to do was sign on the dotted line and hand over the cash—which I planned to do the following week.
But sometimes well laid plans change direction. Why is it that some words just seem to jump off the pages of Scripture? And, it seems that those words require action.
