What? Autumn Again?
I must admit that this is a favorite time of year. So many vivid colors just about everywhere. I ran across this pretty plant shining in the sun the other morning. I had to stop and admire it.
And now, it’s the end of the growing season. My box garden languished this year. I’m hoping next year will be much better because I plan to be around to tend it. I did learn how limited my space is, so it wasn’t a total loss.
There is a lone marigold left in the box. Sigh.
New Wild Rose Ridge Autumn series
A brand-new Wild Rose Ridge series kicks off this weekend. As always, there are seasonal festivities happening all around the area. A rodeo, featuring the favorite bull riding, then
apple picking and all things pumpkin. And something a little more special this time, too. A movie! Being filmed right in the middle of town. Your favorite characters are back and some new ones, too!
The first story, Her Autumn Cowboy, is available now on Amazon.
The second story in the series will be available on Tuesday, October 8, and every Tuesday for the rest of the month.
Don’t miss the fun!
Wild Rose Ridge Author Retreat
The Wild Rose Ridge authors went to Leavenworth and Roslyn WA for retreat this year.
We sampled all the goodness and loved the steps, it seemed in Leavenworth to a creative culture, and in Roslyn, back in time. All in a couple of days.
Maybe something is noodling here for the future of Wild Rose Ridge. We won’t leave you hanging. Look for some short stories when you have read all of the autumn series.
Some of those characters that you’ve wondered about might have a vignette or two for you until the next big splash.
A Last Word
No matter what or when, it is a good time to thank the Lord for His goodness. In all things, He is with you. Always remember you have a Comforter by your side Who is ready and waiting to fill you with all of His good things.
