A God Word 
Remember: Your times are in the Hands of God. He alone holds all authority and power. And He uses it for your good—to give you a future and a hope because His love for you is so great. Lean into Him. His arms are strong and powerful. His body is a bulwark against all adversity whether it is from within or without. His love is like sunshine enfolding you in its warmth. As Revelation says, you have no need of the sun because He IS the Son and the Light. The Breath of Life and the Healer. Trust Him. He knows you.
This knowing goes right through. He knows you better than you know yourself and knows where you are at this time and why you am the way you are.
God and Wrath
Nahum is a book in the Old Testament, Bible, that seems to be rarely read. But, it sure spoke to me today when I read a few verses.
I learned that Nineveh was a very wicked city. The Assyrians inhabited this city in ancient times. A ferocious people, they conquered everyone in the Middle East and did unspeakable things to torture their subjects. God warned them, and finally devastated the city by a flood which buried the city under the mud and it completely disappeared until about a century ago.
Then ISIS went through and devastated it again in the last decade. Hmmm. That’s twice.
Nahum tells us that the Lord is slow to anger, but He is great in power and will not let the wicked go free. He will have His way in all situations: through whirlwinds, clouds, seas, rivers, forests—all are under His power.
Earthquakes, shaking mountains, fire and flying rocks—nothing can endure His wrath. He will make an end of wickedness and pursue His enemies.
God As Yoke Breaker
But for us who trust Him in our hard days, He is our Stronghold. He will break the yoke of the evil one from us and set all captives free. The bonds will fall off!
God is always at work! If He says He will break the yoke, then we can believe He will break the yoke!
