Immanuel – God With Us
Christmas is a season of joy, fun and celebrating.
But there are some who are experiencing the depths of darkness in these days. But, isn’t this the reason Jesus came to earth in the first place? To rescue us from the darkness and bring us into the joyful light.
For those suffering losses – there is no way around it. But as you walk through the dark, Jesus promises to be at your side.
No empty place is unnoticed. God has those loved ones in His care now. And though you grieve, His heart covers your tears.
No panic is untended. His grace is sufficient. He promises to provide the peace needed for your soul.
He is Immanuel.
God with us.
Trust Him.
“’Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,’ which is translated, “God with us’” (Matthew 1:23 NKJV).
“No empty place is unnoticed. . . . No panic is untended.”
Dear Linda Jo, such compassionate, heartening observations. Thank you! And blessings on you and your loved ones.
Thank you, Laurie. Blessings back to you as well, and a Merry Christmas. So many are going through such tough things. It seemed encouragement was needed. Especially at Christmas.
