Winter Blahs
My Christmas tree still stands. Other lighted decorations are still displayed around my house. It’s getting late, right? Christmas was weeks ago and it’s time to move on. But those lights are so cheerful and help me to beat the winter blahs that insist on encroaching this time of year.
Reminder
Oftentimes, it’s during those winter blahs that the enemy tends to strike. The sky is already dark, and an outlook can seem grim. The sun still shines up there some place, but not anywhere in the world we can see. Doubts can increase in the dark. It’s winter.
But, just as little twinkling lights remind us, the Light has not gone out.

He has raised us from the dead.
