Upheld In Between and Beyond

It’s that week between two years. It seems all things come to a stop as we wait for the Big Change to occur.

I wonder what the vacuum in this week really holds?

A page to turn.

Saying goodbye to the old and shaking the dust from our feet.

Hoping we can shut the door on old sorrows.

Hoping the doors that open will be bright and shining.

Setting new goals.

World peace.

We just celebrated the long-ago birth of Jesus, our Savior. He came to earth to relieve the terrible suffering caused by our collective sin.

This is True Hope.

He is the One to focus on.

When things are good and seem to be going our way.

When all things come crashing down.

No matter what.

He is faithful and true. He will never fail nor forsake us.

So let joy guard our hearts all through whatever this new year holds.
