The Day After
Ah … standard time once again. We just changed our clocks for the second time this year. Did anyone lose any sleep over this? No, you say, we gained that hour. Oh yeah? Anyone dragging around today at work?
Well, sigh, maybe this ying-yang dance we do every year will be solved soon. And I won’t have trouble opening my eyes in the morning after the change anymore. Or keeping them open during the day, either! Or being zapped of strength when night falls so soon.
Behind The Veil
Though I must admit, the skies have offered some brilliant shows before the dark closed in these last weeks. The photos on Social Media abound.
I like to think it’s God pouring out His glory from His throne every night. Reminding us, even as darkness falls, His light never fails. Behind the veil, He’s still there. Even when we can’t see.
Following Close
He is with us in the night watches. We can follow Him closely. He assures us that He is our help. Even in the shadows, we can rejoice in His presence with us.
Whether the darkest times of the day are in the morning or in the evening, we can be secure in His heart.
