Grace lost her beloved husband in the war. But he left her with a daughter, Allie, and their home, Halstad House. Grace, looking for a way to support herself and Allie, accepted boarders into their home.
At first, serving and caring for boarders was difficult, but God is in the business of changing lives. Add in an old flame, a wise new boarder who becomes a mentor to Grace, and an evil bad guy up to no good, and a most enjoyable story emerges. You’ll keep turning the pages!
