Last week, my sister, Laura, invited me to join her in a blog hop. I have not done so before and it is my privilege to talk about Laura Conowitch and her wonderful blog at LC’s Cottage http://lcscottage.wordpress.com/.
Laura is a quilt artist. She teaches and coaches quilting and produces beautiful patterns that delight your eyes with color. Besides this, Laura and hubby, Joe, love to explore God’s world and share what they see on their blogs. Take a look!
Going forward – I am to answer the question of why do I write to create what I do?
Hmm, good one. Aside from saying that I can’t NOT write, I believe that God works through lives and experiences to create people made in His image. He uses everything, good and bad, for our stories to bring Him glory. We reflect who He is as we learn and grow. Then we share with others that they might learn and grow, too.
I express His creation in me through writing. I love word pictures. And yes, I love the photos that illustrate further those words. If I can wrap together a photo and words of Truth that touch souls and draw them to a Creator that loves them intensely and passionately, then I have accomplished my purpose.
So—what has He given you? What do you love to do? I’ll bet that’s His creative muse in you. Go for it! We, the world, need it.
“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man (woman)of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work” II Timothy 3:16-17.

Thanks for the shout out Sis! I love your explanation for why you write!
