Graduation
‘Tis the season. Steven is my second youngest of nine grandsons. He graduated with honors and heading to a future of flying. I’m very proud of him. I got a t-shirt for him that says, “be kind, I might be your pilot one day.”
That’s Steven’s dad, Jeff, waving in the background.
It’s been a while since I drove across the state to visit. I am so glad I got to see Steven walk across the stage and be announced as a high school graduate.

Wild Rose Ridge
It’s the 4th of July in Wild Rose Ridge in 1886. Come and celebrate the anniversary of our country.
Enjoy the antics of a new crop of brides, the festivities, and see what those Busy Bees are up to.
The first release in the 4th of July series is on Friday, July 3 and every Friday after until August 14.
Meg
Meg and her younger brother, Caleb, come from the farm to live with Miss Thelma in Wild Rose Ridge. She wants freedom and the opportunity to prove to her older brother, Sam, that she is a responsible adult.
She has also loved Thad McNeil since she was twelve. Her brother’s best friend. How can she show Thad that she is grown up?
Thad was knocked six ways sideways when Meg arrived home on the Merry Jo at Christmas with the first mail order brides. When had she become such a beautiful woman?
And how can Thad pursue Meg after promising her brother Sam that he would keep an eye on her and Caleb and keep them safe. Would Sam consider him safe?
And always there is an influence from the Busy Bee matchmakers. What next?
Back to the Present
So that’s my news for now.
Be sure to enter the contest. There are LOTS of good books from some really great authors! You might as well stock up on your Christmas reading.
You know how time flies…
