Need Coffee?
Greetings my friends.
Are you ready to greet the autumn season? I must admit I am glad to say goodbye to the searing heat, but not at all ready to face snow yet. Autumn is a good segue. Sunny, but cooler. Brilliant colors. I look forward to it.
Yes, in case you are wondering, both my names are spelled wrong on this coffee cup.
New Wild Rose Ridge Series
The new Wild Rose Ridge series is historical. A bit of a change for all of the authors, including me. I am learning a lot about “back then.” Seven mail order brides make their way to Wild Rose Ridge for Christmas. Seven novellas that will be released in October and November. Each story title is named after the mail order bride in the story. My tale comes last. Everyone was so gracious as I worked my way through my Mom’s and sister’s estates in the last year.
Marianne, my latest Wild Rose Ridge story is close to being finished. It is due to my editor by mid-month September. I need to get on the stick.
Need Readers
The plan is to finish by September 5. Then I need two people who are willing to read my manuscript the next week. Yikes! It’s due to my editor by September 15. I apologize for the short notice. But I admit, it happens a lot in this business.
What I hope my readers can do is read the story, tell me if it makes sense and if the characters stay in—well—character. And if there are any noticeable bloopers, please, yes, tell me. That’s it.
