He is Risen
Yesterday we celebrated the Resurrection of Jesus. Our Savior and Lord.
Halleluia!
So wonderful. So grateful. So blessed. We are the children of God. Saved by the Blood of the Lamb. Jesus, the Sacrifice who took away our sins and stands for us between His Father (and now ours, too) and judgment. Forever.
What can we do but bow in worship to One who loves us so much?
What Now?
It’s so easy to look around and see the failures of our culture. Maybe not just our culture, but the world in general. And, in particular, the children—who Jesus wants to gather to Himself.
We notice the failings of people to nurture children. It’s too easy to see the entrapment of our children. The lack of teaching them the things of God, of integrity and right living. The enemy is active in our world.
And yet – Hope
Still, God reaches out and draws children to Himself. I think He is touching young people all over the world. But maybe it is good to point it out in a time when we despair for our young people.
A young woman just went to the mission field. Two young men were recently baptized. Another is searching God’s Word to grow to know Him, and texts Scriptures he finds meaningful. I am sure we can name many, many more. These are the ones in my world for now. I will keep praying for more and expecting, in faith, results in young lives for God. We can’t see the work God is doing. It’s just plain invisible to our eyes. The work He does, He does in secret.
Hope abounds.
Continue With Heart
I encourage all of us to continue to uphold our next generations before the Throne of God. Jesus rose from the dead. He intends to save. And we join Him in pointing the way.
As long as He lives, there is hope for our generations.
Keep holding them before God. He is ready for them.

Linda Jo, love the rookie mom photo! 🙂
THANK YOU for this timely, resurrection-drenched word! May we uphold the generations in prayer while we have breath, speak with the potent hope that has both anchored our souls and buoyed our lives.
Laurie – yes, I think we must be diligent to pray for our generations. The Lord is returning soon. Wow!
