It’s election week. Opinions and emotions are riding high and the future looks highly charged. As in energy amok. No matter who is elected we are all wondering what is going to happen?
Times To Try Men’s (and Women’s) Souls
We’ve heard this phrase applied often in uncertainly or wartime. It is undoubtedly true. But, then on earth there is no lack of occurrences to worry about. Amid world view clashes, economies, health issues, food and weather and much more—how can we take it?
The Truth
The Truth remains that after the election God will still be God. He will still sit upon heaven’s throne.
The Bible will still be His Word and our roadmap to follow for living.
His Holy Spirit will still be present to lead and guide us.
His promise never to leave us or forsake us will never fade away. We will still be able to count upon Him.
His plans for the whole world will still unfold just as He originally put them together. He is not surprised or dismayed.
Our Part
Our part is to stop worrying and turn our eyes His way in trust. Even if times get tougher, His Word will still march forward.
We must support one another as the Body of Christ.
Just ask believers all over the world who go from strength to strength as they are persecuted for His Name. Eternity and all God’s promises are ours as we stand firm in the faith.
He Will Return!
His Word and Promise are sure. Jesus is coming back for His faithful. Believers have known this down the centuries and encouraged each other. So—stand firm in the faith!
“For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of archangel, and with the trumpet of God…” I Thessalonians 4:16.

Amen! Such good reminders here. Thanks for the voice of faith amid chaos
It’s always good to remind each other who we belong to! And that everything is still and always in His hands!
I’ve been reminding myself of this for days! We do our part as American citizens, but our ultimate citizenship is in heaven – where, thankfully, there will be NO elections.
Haha! Yep, I’m pretty sure we won’t have elections in heaven, too. So glad our God is in charge, eh?
