Ode to the Sun
Sun, oh sun!
Where be you?
In this endless land of white
We miss you!
We miss your warmth!
Oh, come again soon!
We shovel snow for endless hours
And even if your light sparkles
It is a cold shudder that shakes our bodies.
But wait–!
It’s nearly 4:30 PM.
And the darkness does not shroud.
Could it be? Oh, please, may it be…
Spring around the corner.
Faith is the substance of the unseen.
And hope keeps life going.
Spring is coming!
The sun will give it’s warmth once more.
Just wait for it….
