Darkness fell over the earth when He died. The Light had gone, taking peace and joy with Him. Silence reigned in the tomb. His body lay still. It appeared that despair had won.
The bewildering grief set in.
But what if the quiet held a hush of expectancy? Maybe it wasn’t over. Maybe it was meant to be a time of waiting instead.
The Light moved speedily, unseen by earth. The keys to Hades and Hell were confiscated. Gates opened. Long dead captives marched free.
The time when the Light could no longer be contained drew near.
