Big Sky Country
They call Montana Big Sky Country. I suppose that’s true. When you are already a mile high, and mountains ring the landscape, all you can do is look up.
A couple weeks ago, I took my daughter in for her final surgery (she is good to go). Because of Covid-19, I could not wait in the hospital. So, I waited four and a half hours in a nice cute coffee shop I found around the corner and another five hours walking around the hospital several times.
At first, the walking felt good. And I had plenty of photo ops. Then the clouds and the rain rolled in. I sat in my car with a now sore knee. My e-reader was out of juice … grrrr … and I didn’t pack a paper book. Note to self: ALWAYS bring a PAPER BOOK! Maybe I should have taken a nap.
After the rain lightened up, I got out of the car to walk more laps.
And God sent a reminder that His promises are true. Forever.
Better Than A Pot of Gold
I could see the end of the rainbow in the field. There was no pot of gold.
But I took heart that God saw me that day. And every day.
When He sends reminders, it is like receiving His hugs.
He gives us something of Himself every time He sends a rainbow. A pot of gold cannot even compare to the riches we have in our God!
Be thankful unto Him. His care is forever. His kindness is forever. His love is forever.
Thankful for the perfect timing, God painting a rainbow for you. Psst. Get the Kindle app on your phone. I learned the hard way not to ever leave home without the ability to get to my books and this option has saved me countless times! Looking forward to Job’s wife ❤️
Yes, that’s a great idea. And this was definitely the hard way! Must we always go that route? I was using up my phone battery, too. You know, texting, email, taking pictures. Good grief! However, I won’t be caught again!
Lovely! Perhaps, if you’d had a paperback you would not have heard his voice and seen the beauty that you brought out in your words! Tee-hee!
Very true, Gail. Very true. God doesn’t waste anything, especially time!
