I loved this second book in this series. I was right there with Maddie and Rob, living their experiences with them.

Young marrieds, Maddie and Rob, thought they had their lives set. Living in Newark, New Jersey, Rob owned a jeweler business with a partner. Plenty of opportunity to support the wife he loves. Until a cough and other symptoms began to sap his energy. Then the cough became serious and the doctor recommended a different climate. He and Maddie sold everything to relocate to Wyoming and become sheepherders. It was not ideal, but if it might mean Rob’s recovery, both were ready to go. What they were NOT ready for, however, were the hardships brought by not only weather, difficult living conditions, but by some unwelcoming people. It’s the story of how a couple survived a new life, with new friends, and overcoming obstacles—and how God saw them through it all. Loved this story, and I couldn’t put it down.
