Ok, I promise that this is NOT a rant. Maybe close, though.
Sometimes I like change. But that usually involves a vacation or something fun to do. It does NOT encompass messing up my routines—especially when it includes equipment changes. And then having learn how it works. It’s disruptive. Am I the only one who feels this way?
I would much prefer things to last as long as I do and I don’t have to go through mental contortions every so often. But then, I guess there would be no growing and learning, isn’t that so?
My old computer buddy decided to call it quits when I got home from Ireland. AUGH! My fix it man jerry rigged it to last a while longer.
“This is no longer a laptop,” He warned me. “Take it home, park it and DO NOT TURN IT OFF. EVER!”
That’s been interesting. Of course, it sent me shopping immediately. I knew all my friends would miss my blog—right?
My new computer buddy, while still a laptop, is smaller and much easier to pack around. Maybe I can get used to that. After I learn how to use it. It’s new. With new widgits and gadgets and other stuff on it. I have to unlearn some things, too.
So, the long and short of it is—change can be good. Learning new things is good. It keeps adventure alive and life interesting.
So praise God from whom all blessings flow.
(Just thought you’d like to see something pretty in my rant. A peony out of my this year’s garden. Sure does smell good, too!)

Thank God for peonies and PCs! New every season…well, the peonies anyway and hopefully not the PC 🙂 Glad you’re functional again!
Learning the Microsoft 10 is certainly a challenge! At least the flowers smell good. Sheesh!
