The Shadow
by Kimberly Rae
Breathe
Don’t forget to breath while reading this book! Kimberly Rae’s thriller has everything: a psycho stalker, FBI involvement, rescue of trafficked girls and an NGO’s reputation under attack. You won’t sleep a wink all night.
Meagan Winston, the main character, works for a ministry called Rahab’s Rope. She travels across the world a couple times a year (and so does her stalker) to help free sex trafficked victims.
Meagan didn’t expect to understand first-hand the fear of the girls she cares for. Incredulous, she looks over her shoulder everywhere she goes, fights the chills that chase up and down her back and must accept that her life is out of her control. Even after she endures a time of lock-up, due to suspicion of drug trafficking, she asks herself if she can still trust God for her own safety.
This must read is fiction, but true in a real sense. You can find it on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Dstripbooks&field-keywords=The+Shadow+by+Kimberly+Rae
Rahab’s Rope
Women and girls suffer unspeakable tragedies around the world as control of their own lives, and even their bodies, are taken from them. Imagine a young woman living in a closet, perhaps with a child or two hidden behind a curtain or blanket, while she tries to earn money to feed them all.
Rahab’s Rope is a real-life ministry/business in Gainesville, GA. In the USA, they run a boutique filled with lovely items created by freed women and girls, allowing the women to make a living in liberty. The success of the boutique also makes it possible for the rescue of others, still in bondage. You can be a part of the solution by looking here: https://www.rahabsrope.com/
