Big Picture
Job was right about accepting both good and adversity from the hand of God.
Disappointment
We may not know the whys of what happens in our world, but we can be sure that God will always meet us at our point of need. He will never leave us or forsake us no matter how desperate our situation appears.
No matter if we are living in isolation …
No matter if we are lacking concentration, or aimlessly wandering about our houses …
No matter if we are dealing with family situations, now face-on …
No matter if working with schooling situations is a test …
No matter if we are concerned for our jobs, our economy …
No matter if we are worried for the country, or the world …
It could be far worse!
Our adversities may have eternal purposes that only God knows.
Hope is Always an Option
God is present with us in every instance. He holds hope before us. And He will be there on the other side of our trauma waiting for us. The light is ahead. We only need to hang in there and keep doing what is necessary and endure as long as we need to.
Victory is ahead.
During times of intense pressure, I have found comfort in the Scriptures. As I do, I hope you find comfort in this promise:
“Fear not, I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; you are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned. Nor shall the flame scorch you” (Isaiah 43:1-2).
Coronavirus Covid-19 can’t change God’s plans for us. He will see us through this!
