OOMPH!
I had my heart set on this luscious dish of peach yogurt. But it was time to head up to the home office, so I decided to take it with me.
I turned.
Met an obstacle.
The kitchen counter.
NOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Yogurt, anyone?
You guessed it. My beautiful crystal bowl (I am using my crystal for every day, and why not? I am the only one here. Who would break it?) went flying from my hand.
Full of peach yogurt.
All over the counter. The cabinet. The floor. Even the cats’ feed dish!
And the bowl shattered—that being the nature of crystal.
I mourned.
Observing
This calamity did not make my cats happy, either. They sat at a respectful distance in the dining room, twitching ears and swishing tails.
Yogurt and glass in their dish did not appeal.
Cleaning
For anyone worried about my furry friends, I cleaned up good. Picked it up, wiped it up, washed it up and swept it up.
Then I threw out their food, washed their feeder, and refilled it. They are good to go.
I, however, have one less crystal bowl in my lovely gem of a collection.
Still mourning.
Something Good
Yep, something good has come of this mini-disaster. I have a clean kitchen floor!
God is good.
